Warning: Aliexpress Hurt
Hurt Aliexpress is a phrase that often appears in search results, and most people who approach me with this question think that to cooperate with Aliexpress, some kind of contract is needed, similar to traditional wholesalers. However, not everyone realizes that Aliexpress is not a typical wholesaler, but rather an e-commerce platform where there are numerous offers from manufacturers.
In fact, on Aliexpress, you can find products from clients of Alibaba (Alibaba) and Aliexpress is one company, Alibaba specializes in producing goods for specific orders, for example, someone wants to start their brand and produce iPhone 11 cases with certain features, signs a contract with Alibaba, and Chinese producers make the product for that company, which then imports it into the country and distributes it.
Aliexpress is de facto an online store where you can also find products from manufacturers who have decided to leave stock in China (but not only, there are also offers from companies that have imported produced batches of goods to their own country and sell them through Aliexpress).
So you don’t need to commission production from Alibaba, you don’t need to import goods into the country, you can sell products made by others using the dropshipping model directly through your own online store integrated with the Aliexpress portal.
Prices on Aliexpress in many niches are several times lower than in Europe, but the best thing is that to start selling in a dropshipping model, you don’t need to sign any contracts with Aliexpress. Aliexpress hurt is de facto a portal from which Aliexpress integrates into your own online store and you can already start distributing their products.
It’s a mistake to think that goods redistributed through Aliexpress in the dropshipping model are always shipped from China and delivery takes 30 days, each offer on the Aliexpress portal has different shipping methods, including air transport, some suppliers display offers that are available in European warehouses, I recently built an online store for a client who operates in the niche of electric skateboards and scooters, and what a surprise it was when I saw that the goods were shipped from the Czech Republic … despite being displayed through the Aliexpress platform. A company from the Czech Republic commissioned production through the Alibaba portal to a Chinese manufacturer under their brand, imported the goods into their warehouse in the Czech Republic and displayed them on Aliexpress so that all dropshippers around the world could resell them, but also so that they could reach retail customers.
The Aliexpress portal is not dedicated exclusively to the end consumer, but also to the wholesaler. Depending on the niche, margins can be even several hundred percent, such conditions are not available in any European wholesale warehouse where 20-30% is the maximum, not to mention that to get these highest discounts you need to generate a certain turnover. In the case of the Aliexpress platform, there is no such requirement, you will gain a huge margin from the start, regardless of whether you sell in the dropshipping model 1, 5, 10 or 100 products. The boundary conditions are the same for everyone, without unnecessary paperwork and complications.
The only requirement is to set up a normal client account on the Aliexpress.com portal and already based on this you can integrate/build your online store and connect it with the Aliexpress portal.
Below you can see an example of such an integrated store with Aliexpress, don’t be fooled by its appearance or assortment as it may look completely different, any products can be imported into the store, and a custom design can be created (this is just a demo version)
