HTML Elements

**HTML Pages**

We often come across this term, but what does it mean?

For non-technical people, it may not be clear in which technology websites are created, making it difficult to choose a solution. Unfortunately, this has significant consequences that I will discuss below.

An **internet website** made with HTML is today the cheapest form of advertising for your business because it does not involve high costs of implementation, it is easy to construct and fast to implement.

Of course, the way of building HTML pages has undergone significant changes compared to how websites were designed a few years ago. Today, there are almost no limitations when it comes to website layout compared to more complex solutions such as CMS (content management systems).

I am often asked about **online store** and its cheapest construction, unfortunately in this case HTML is not enough

Often seeing a website made with HTML5/CSS, it’s hard at first glance to say if it was created with PHP or HTML, only upon closer inspection does the true nature of the site reveal itself.

What does this mean for you as a business owner? What technology your internet website was created in?

The choice of technology determines how you will use your website, **online sales** of services can take place both through an HTML page and PHP.

If it’s supposed to be simple (not confusing with unattractive) **website**, also known as a business card presenting the company’s offer that does not undergo frequent changes, using HTML technology with CSS style sheets is sufficient enough, because in this case, once implemented, the solution will not need to be modified frequently, it will have static content.

An **internet website** made with HTML is ideal as a business card presenting static content because it is very fast (no database and complex queries), and relatively fast to build. However, such type of websites impose many limitations, especially regarding editing content and expanding the site.

Editing an HTML page unfortunately requires modifying files, which means effectively modifying code, for non-technical people this can be a significant obstacle. It’s easy enough to delete a fragment of code responsible for displaying the website correctly, so I do not recommend making such modifications yourself. In such cases, it’s best to purchase a service package, i.e., hire someone who knows HTML/CSS to take care of your site.

For companies that want to have a website based on content management systems, they need a solution in PHP technology, which I will discuss in the next article.
