Today, once again, I realized that the company home.pl does not evolve with the changes taking place in the market, it’s a dinosaur of our times in the hosting industry…

Every respectable hosting company, whether Polish or foreign, today requires logging into the panel and clicking on the corresponding button to obtain the AuthInfo code, which enables migration. Meanwhile, in the company home.pl, the same ridiculous paper procedure has been unchanged for years, requiring an endless number of emails, prints, scans, and stamps, which have not been used in a civilized world for years.

This is a tragedy.

People are amazed that they lose their market share to companies such as Kei.pl/Cyberfolks.pl and others, such as Godaddy, Hostgator, Hostinger, etc. They lose and will continue to lose if they do not change their approach to customers. Who in today’s world still uses paper prints, scans, stamps? People… is it enough to have an account and renew the domain for years to deserve a simple “obtain AuthInfo code” button in the panel?

Even if the code were not generated automatically, but sent by support via email, that would be enough…

It seems that home.pl tries to discourage its customers from leaving their questionable quality, deteriorating with each passing year, hosting. I have a message for you – nothing will stop this process, you won’t keep your customers in such a way. A customer will go through the process once, fill out the form, print it, write all the data with a pen, sign it, scan it and send an email, then send company registration documents, ID scan, shoe size, collar size, and fingerprint if necessary… but this entire procedure will be etched in their memory so deeply that they will shudder at the mention of home.pl for the rest of their life.

You won’t keep your customers by force or with these archaic procedures. Remember that a bad opinion on the Internet spreads like lightning, while a good one is hard to achieve and requires a lot of work. Once, home.pl was one of the best Polish hosting companies (if not the best) over the years, changes in ownership have led you down the drain. In the automotive industry in Germany, accountants have gained a voice, engineers have lost it, similarly in your company, where an accountant calculated that a client who is made to leave will be discouraged and continue to pay higher and higher fees for your questionable quality service… but it will be exactly the opposite.
