Google Safe Search
Google Safe Search is a secure search in Google.
It’s easy to find educational and thought-provoking content online. On the other hand, it’s equally easy to come across explicit or graphically objectionable content, especially for children.
That’s why Google Safe Search allows you to filter out results that we don’t want to see ourselves or shouldn’t see our children.
In this blog post, we will show how to use the SafeSearch function to filter out unwanted content, turn it on and off, and manage it for others.
Filtrowanie wyników z nagości przy użyciu Google Safe Search
The Google Safe Search function is a great way to remove explicit content from search results. To enable SafeSearch, simply go to the Google.com website and click on “Settings” in the top right corner of the page. From there, select “Search settings” and scroll down to the “SafeSearch filtering” section. Select “Filter results,” and then click “Save.”
When SafeSearch is enabled, you will see a message at the top of the screen indicating that it’s on. You can also verify its operation by searching for the Google Safe Search logo (a green triangle with a white icon) next to filtered online results.
If you ever doubt whether Google Safe Search is on or off, simply go back to the “Settings” section and check the “SafeSearch filtering” section. If it’s set to “Filter results,” then SafeSearch is still active.
Jak działa Google Safe Search?
When you enable Google Safe Search, Google uses a combination of techniques to filter out explicit content from search results. This includes identifying and excluding websites with explicit content as well as scanning websites for such content.
The Google Safe Search function is not perfect but is a good way to avoid coming across explicit content by accident. You can also use Google Safe Search with other parental control tools, such as setting up supervised user accounts in Chrome or using software from other companies.
Kto może zmienić ustawienia Google Safe Search?
If you are a parent or guardian, you can change the settings for your child’s Google Safe Search account. To do this, launch the Google search app (e.g., in Chrome) and enable this option as shown below:
Funkcja SafeSearch jest włączona, ale wyniki wyszukiwania zawierające treści nagości nadal się pojawiają
Even if SafeSearch is enabled, explicit content may still appear in search results. This happens because the function is not 100% accurate and relies on a combination of techniques, including identifying and excluding websites with explicit content as well as scanning websites for such content.
If you see explicit content in your search results, you can report it to Google. To do this, click the “Feedback” link at the bottom of the page with search results. Then select the option to report objectionable results.
