How to make pictures available on the website so that anyone visiting can download them?

To display images on your website, you need to place them in a public directory accessible via FTP. To do this, you must set up appropriate permissions for the directory where the images are stored. The easiest way is to set the permissions for 755 (rwxr-xr-x), which will allow all users to read files in that directory.

To display images on your website, use the HTML tag in an HTML file. This tag requires you to specify a path to the graphic file. The path should be relative to the directory where the HTML file is located.

Here’s an example of HTML code displaying an image called “example.jpg” located in the “images” directory:

In this example, the HTML file is located in the main directory of the website, and the “images” directory is in the same directory as the HTML file.

If you want to display an entire directory with images, you can also use a PHP loop to display all the images in that directory:

In this example, the scandir() function is used to retrieve a list of files in the directory. Then, in the foreach loop, all graphic files are checked and displayed using the tag. The pathinfo() function was also used to get the file extension and check if it’s a graphic file.
