The Polish Post Office (WP) is a very popular choice among Poles, but I don’t understand why, after free inboxes like WP, Onet, Interia or others, it’s some kind of joke in the era of Gmail. You can get dizzy from all the ubiquitous ads and popping windows. It’s hard for me to imagine using such mailboxes for work – that would be a drama.
I work in the IT industry, I often conduct email correspondence with clients, send questions and invoices, etc. And very often during conversations with clients, I find out that my emails on WP end up either in the OFFERS tab or SPAM, where no one goes, not even to delete them… exactly, trash.
You should know that such “trash” folders can also catch important messages, not just spam or offers from companies you didn’t order anything from. For example, a court summons, a document from the authorities, or an invoice that’s overdue and if you don’t pay it, they’ll cut off your power, phone, or other essential services without which you won’t be able to function.
The absurdity of the situation lies in the fact that I have clients who receive invoices from me every month for various services over many years. Despite WP’s “genius” rules (or perhaps its administrators are incompetent), they still end up in the OFFERS or SPAM folder… total nonsense.
I warn against using Polish free mailboxes, which aren’t really free – you’ll be overwhelmed by screaming ads and popping windows. It can cause epilepsy… it’s bad for your health. A much better, also free solution is Gmail, with no ads and no valuable email will escape your attention.
I don’t have any interest in promoting Gmail, but I use it myself from a long time ago and Google Workspace, their paid service. And simply put, it’s very good and free of the flaws I mentioned above.
In my opinion (I have a test account), Polish Post Office is probably the worst free mailbox I’ve ever used, except for its ability to send valuable messages to the OFFERS or SPAM folder. Unfortunately, messages also arrive with significant delay, which is likely due to the fact that emails must pass through an endless number of idiotic rules sorting messages between folders…
