**SEO Positioning**
What is SEO positioning?
Despite what so-called interactive agencies may write in their articles, manipulating search engine results is all that SEO positioning is. Yes, Google is the only search engine that matters.
These so-called SEO/interactive agencies don’t tell you about two main goals that their blog posts serve:
1. Filling their websites with content that are necessary for links to work
2. Manipulating people like you into hiring them for a paid service after completing all these tasks listed in their blogs
Why do I think that the articles written by these SEO/interactive agencies are a pack of lies?
Because what they write about doesn’t contain even the smallest detail, and it’s not surprising that they omit mentioning it. What they write has no relation to whether you’ll be able to get traffic from Google on your website.
It’s like expecting a cook to prepare a good soup by only adding salt in the pot…
All these tasks that they tell you about are called “on-page SEO”, or optimizing your website, which is a sort of seasoning for the overall recipe. It contributes somewhat to increasing traffic, but let’s be honest, “it won’t be enough”.
Installing plugins like Yoast SEO, writing articles on your blog, even if they’re very well-written and solve life problems, optimizing them under key words, friendly URLs, tags, and other tasks will not give you anything without the most important, unchanging factor since Google’s existence:
**LINKS**
What are links/backlinks?
They are references to our website placed on other websites. But does buying a package of thousands of links from an auction site or flooding your website with backlinks using link exchange systems work? Unfortunately not since 2013 when Google tightened the screws on SEOs…
The entire SEO industry is something that Google has been fighting since its inception because, as I mentioned earlier, **SEO POSITIONING** is manipulating search engine results. There’s no such thing as natural ranking growth. If you want to aggregate valuable traffic from your website, which will convert into paying customers, you need to optimize your website for SEO. Alternatives are expensive advertising methods like Google Ads.
That’s why Google fights the SEO industry because it has no interest in your website being number one on its search results for your keywords. They have a huge interest in selling ad slots for billions of dollars. Do you understand now why it’s so hard to get your website ranked?
So, if we know that worthless links don’t work anymore…
We need to find services with high and very high organic traffic from Google. The best tool for selecting such services are websites like semrush.com. You’ll see how much traffic a particular website has, as well as its Authority Score.
Look at this screenshot:
[Caption: Authority score is an indication of how valuable a website is that we link to. Everything above 30 is worth your attention. Organic Search Traffic is the organic traffic from Google’s search results that our website receives each month, which is known. The higher the number, the better. Next, we have the number of backlinks leading to our website, and here more is not always better…]How can we get a link from such a valuable website?
1. We can contact its owner about writing an expert article in your industry on our website, which must include a link (preferably just the URL) to our website.
2. We can hire an SEO agency to acquire links from such places and even write expert articles.
To get valuable traffic from Google’s search results, you need many high-quality backlinks. If you want to do it yourself, searching for such services and writing articles may not be worth your time, as the owners of these websites will only publish articles that are top-notch, or they won’t publish them at all. And even if we pay, there’s no guarantee that our website will get traffic.
What kind of costs can we expect from hiring an SEO agency?
As I said earlier, this “cheap” SEO era ended in 2013, almost a decade ago! Nowadays, effective SEO and positioning in a medium-competitive industry cost tens of thousands of zlotys per month. Of course, people love to promise cheap things that are good quality, and there are many companies in the industry selling illusions to clients. What does it mean?
It means selling clients on long-term contracts for “SEO” at low prices (a few hundred zlotys) without any guarantees of getting valuable traffic from Google, but with guarantees of high penalties if the client cancels the contract.
I have clients not only from Poland who are working with me without a contract for 15 years. They can leave when they want to, and it’s up to them why they stay…
Because I give them good results!
An agency that protects itself with high penalties for canceling contracts will get good results… for themselves, unfortunately. If you want results, work on getting them yourself or pay real prices for SEO.
Searching for places like these costs money, acquiring links from such places also costs money, and even writing expert articles costs money. No one writes something without being paid!
