Websites made in flash had their moment of glory, having an animated beautiful website in flash was something, unfortunately websites of this type, despite being very impressive, did not gain popularity in the long run, why?
Because the most popular search engine in the World – Google cannot handle the interpretation of such a website and it is well known that in organic results the top spots are held by websites rich with interesting content that can be shared, commented on etc. Unfortunately, the technology of creating flash websites is not very well suited for this.
Despite this, when I analyze search queries related to building websites in Google’s Keyword Planner, I often come across keywords connected to the word FLASH, website in flash still exists in some people’s consciousness, especially those who are older and remember web technologies from the 90s. People still need websites in this technology, surprisingly search queries about e-commerce website in such technology appear too.
Unfortunately I have bad news, flash website building technology is dying, currently there is not a single big or even medium-sized company specializing in designing websites that would offer building websites in flash. Today, websites are no longer commonly built entirely in this technology, yes, flash appears occasionally in a project as an embedded video or animation.
For those who are still looking for effects given by flash technology I have one good news, currently HTML or PHP allow you to build extremely impressive and attractive websites that are not less attractive than those made in the old flash technology. E-commerce can be as efficient as it is impressive.
Websites built entirely in flash today are a rarity, although you can still find such websites even as company websites of big companies, however these last companies supporting this technology are slowly withdrawing seeing the problem with the elasticity of these solutions, PHP gives much more possibilities in this regard.
